Project Description

Back in 2020, I had the opportunity to create a website for Deaf Aboriginal Services, and it became a project I’m really proud of. Using Weebly as the platform, I focused on creating a space that was not only functional but visually reflective of Aboriginal culture. I carefully selected colors to honor and celebrate the rich heritage of the community, ensuring the design felt authentic and meaningful.

One of the highlights of the project was the collaboration with the owner’s family member, who designed custom icons that beautifully complemented the website. These icons added a personal touch and further enriched the overall look, enhancing the cultural connection.

What really stood out to me, though, was the structure of the website. I put a lot of effort into making sure the navigation was intuitive and easy to follow. Whether users were searching for information about services, events, or resources, I wanted them to have a seamless experience.

This project was more than just building a website – it was about creating a digital space that reflected the identity of Deaf Aboriginal Services and was accessible to all who visited. Looking back, I’m proud of how it came together and the positive feedback it received.
